The Denis Mickiewicz Endowment Fund
The “Denis Mickiewicz Endowment Fund” was established at the 70th Anniversary Concert to honor our founder by providing a permanent source of funding for the musical and cultural mission of the YRC / YRCAA. It reached the $125,000 mark in the spring of 2025. Our goal is to surpass $250,000 by the 75th anniversary in 2028. It has already proven invaluable to the on-campus chorus by providing matching funds to support YRC participation in the Spring 2025 tour to Georgia and Armenia.
The fund is professionally managed by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. Oversight is provided by the YRC Alumni Association Board of Directors. Although electronic means of payment are available, for amounts over $200 a check is preferred, as it avoids the fees which are placed on electronic payments.
